Thus, the Ornish program concentrates on the heart disease. The book offers two types of diets, one to prevent heart disease, and another to reverse heart disease's effects. The diets by Dr. Ornish are vegetarian in nature and offer very low amounts of calories from fats.
From that origin came a book titled Eat More, Weight Less, which uses the principles laid out in the earlier book, but concentrates on weight reduction.
